Processed vcf files, scripts, and additional plots for Botero-Castro & Wolf (2026).

This dataset is part of the manuscript "Determinants of mutation load in birds" by Botero-Castro & Wolf (2026).The deposited files include: Processed vcf files for 24 populations of 19 species includinga) Vcf files for 28 chromosomes including all 0-fold 2-fold, 3-fold, and 4-fold degenerate sites;b) Vcf files for 28 chromosomes afte filtering out CpG-sites and W-S mutations. Plots for comparison of the observed and expected SFS after inference of the DFE, using the best inferred demographic model for each chromosome. All scripts and code associated to the manuscript.
