利用普林斯顿海洋模式POM,利用大洋地势图(General bathymetric chart of the oceans,GEBCO)作为水下地形,构建东南亚重点区域的风暴潮模式。模式覆盖湄公河和西沙区域,水平分辨率为1/24°,垂向采用sigma坐标,分为4层,风场强迫和边界场为单位自主构建的海气耦合模式提供。数据集的时间分辨率为3小时,变量包括了水位、增水、总流场和潮流等的预报结果。
A storm surge model targeting key regions in Southeast Asia was constructed based on the Princeton Ocean Model (POM), with the General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) utilized as the submarine topography dataset. The model encompasses the Mekong River and Xisha Islands (Paracel Islands) regions, featuring a horizontal resolution of 1/24° and a 4-layer vertical discretization using sigma coordinates. The wind forcing and boundary conditions are supplied by the self-developed air-sea coupled model of the affiliated institution. The temporal resolution of this dataset is 3 hours, and the contained variables cover forecast results of water level, storm surge anomaly, total current field, tidal current and other related hydrodynamic quantities.
