Wastewater treatment plants — whole France

The wastewater treatment system is a waste water treatment system by a variety of processes: biological, physico-chemical... located on a continuous and homogeneous geographical space. It is urban, industrial or mixed according to the nature of the contracting authority. More specifically, whatever the configurations, a sewage treatment plant is the entire geographical area “delimited by the fence” containing a set of civil engineering structures equipped with apparatus and belonging to a single contracting authority. The wastewater treatment system consists of the sewage treatment plant and the weir at the head of the plant (work of the treatment system which allows some or all of the effluent coming to the plant to be derived). The overall manufacturer of the treatment plant is the company name of the main BTP company that built the sewage treatment plant. When several companies were involved in the construction of the sewage treatment plant, the largest part of the works will be retained. When a sewage treatment plant has been the subject of several work programmes, the last main manufacturer is taken into account.
