Experimental–Numerical Dataset for Springback Prediction in Air Bending with Additively Manufactured Polymer Tools
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides the experimental and numerical data supporting the results presented in the manuscript “An Experimental–Numerical Framework for Springback Prediction and Angle Compensation in Air Bending with Additively Manufactured Polymer Tools.” It includes raw tensile test data for DC04 steel sheets and FDM-printed ABS specimens, force–displacement data obtained from controlled air-bending experiments, processed flow curves used as input for finite element simulations, and numerical as well as experimentally measured bending angles after springback. The experimental data were obtained through uniaxial tensile testing in accordance with ISO 6892-1 and ISO 572-2and force-controlled air bending, while numerical simulations were performed using the Simufact.forming finite element software. Optical 3D scanning using a DAVID SLS-2 system was employed for geometric and angular measurements. The dataset can be reused for validation of numerical models, investigation of springback phenomena, and the design and assessment of additively manufactured polymer tools for sheet metal forming applications.
