83A25 antibody is directed against endogenous murine leukaemia virus envelope surface unit (MLV env SU). EL4 mouse T cell lymphoma cell line expresses MLV env SU constitutively at low levels. Our previous data suggests that upon antibody binding, 83A25 antibody - MLV env SU complexes are internalised and phenotypic changes occur within the cell. The aim of the project is to determine whether binding of 83A25 monoclonal antibody to MLV env SU on the surface of EL4 cells induces changes in gene expression.
