Caltrans Vista Points

Vista points are informal pullouts where motorists can safely view scenery or park and relax. They do not include rest rooms. Vista points may have facilities including walkways, interpretive displays, railings, benches, interpretive information, trash receptacles, monuments and other pedestrian facilities that are accessible to all persons. Caltrans Division of Maintenance created this GIS layer by retrieving vista information from the Asset Management Inventory (AMI) database owned by Right of Way. The data was last updated on 08-04-2023, Verification Source: Office of Natural Resource Management.观景台（Vista points）是供机动车驾乘人员安全驻足观赏沿途景致、停车休憩的非正式临时停靠点位。此类设施不配备卫生间。观景台可配套步道、解说展示装置、护栏、长椅、解说信息标识、垃圾桶、纪念碑及其他面向全体人员开放的步行配套设施。加州交通局（Caltrans）养护部门通过从路权管理部门（Right of Way）所持有的资产管理清单（Asset Management Inventory, AMI）数据库中提取观景台相关信息，构建了此地理信息系统（GIS）图层。该数据最后更新于2023年8月4日，验证来源为自然资源管理办公室（Office of Natural Resource Management）。
