THE ROLE OF THE LOGISTICS SYSTEM IN REDUCING PRODUCT LOSSES IN AGRICULTURE

This article analyzes the role and importance of the logistics system in reducing product losses in agriculture. Due to the perishability of agricultural products, losses during their collection, storage, transportation and distribution are one of the main problems. The article discusses how the insufficient development of logistics infrastructure, the lack of modern warehouse and refrigerated storage systems, and shortcomings in the transport system affect product losses. It is also argued that losses can be significantly reduced by introducing digital logistics technologies, optimizing the supply chain and modernizing the infrastructure. The results of the study demonstrate the strategic importance of the logistics system in increasing agricultural efficiency and ensuring food security.
