This repository provides workflows and scripts to estimate the spatial distribution of the global agricultural workforce for present and future, under different scenarios. The outputs are designed for researchers studying climate risks, labor productivity, policy interventions, leveraging high-resolution agricultural distribution data.

Final data products

Agricultural population estimates for baseline (2000, 2010, 2020) and future (2030-2100, decadal) under SSPs 1 to 5

Predicted: predicted number of people working in agriculture -- raw output of the model.

Corrected: number of people working in agriculture corrected to match ILO data.
