Effet de l'urbanisation sur la végétation ligneuse : cas de la région de Dakar, Sénégal

This dataset contains field data collected to assess the effects of urbanization on woody vegetation in the Dakar region (Senegal). The data were obtained through ecological surveys conducted across multiple communes along an urban–rural gradient. The dataset includes information on plot identification, geographic coordinates, taxonomic classification (family, genus, species), species origin (native or exotic), and field observations related to vegetation structure and condition. These data are intended to support analyses of species composition, biodiversity patterns, and the influence of urbanization on vegetation dynamics. They can be used for ecological research, urban planning, and conservation studies in tropical urban environments. All data were collected using standardized field inventory methods.
