Geographic 3D Gaussian Splatting (Geo3DGS) Scene Dataset of Nanjing Normal University's Xianlin North Campus (September 30, 2022)

This dataset primarily encompasses the North Area of Nanjing Normal University's Xianlin Campus, including both the Old North Area and the New North Area. The aerial survey was conducted on September 30, 2022. This dataset specifically comprises the Geo3DGS model data. The data were processed using an in-house developed Geo3DGS model training toolkit, utilizing the oblique aerial photographs as the source data, with the training completed on four NVIDIA A100 GPU cards. The dataset contains geospatial reference information and accurately reflects the real-world geographical context of the campus, including its vegetation, buildings, and other physical features. The final resulting data is partitioned and stored in the 3DGS PLY data format, with a total data volume of approximately 29 GB. Data merging and decompression instructions: Due to platform file size limitations, the original .7z archive has been split into multiple parts (e.g., geo3dgs_north_20220930_part_001, geo3dgs_north_20220930_part_002, etc.). To reconstruct the original archive file, please use the following command-line instructions based on your operating system: Windows (Command Prompt):copy /b geo3dgs_north_20220930_part_* geo3dgs_north_20220930.7z Linux / macOS (Terminal):cat geo3dgs_north_20220930_part_* > geo3dgs_north_20220930.7z After successfully merging the parts, you will obtain a single .7z archive. You can then decompress it using standard tools.
