UMPHEAL scoping review — augmented four-source search, screening and rigour package (PRISMA-ScR supporting data)

Supporting data for the single-author scoping review “What the preparedness literature asks of populations: a scoping review of population health competence across five domains”. This deposit contains the augmented four-source search and screening record on which the review rests: the completed PRISMA-ScR checklist with manuscript page references; the verbatim search strings executed in PubMed/MEDLINE, Lens.org, OpenAlex and the hand-searched WHO Institutional Repository, together with the forty-term concept vocabulary; the charting of the corpus; the screening-validation and threshold-sensitivity record; and the complete record-level screening audit, every record at each stage of the flow with its domains matched, relevance score and exclusion reason. Cascade: 7,624 records identified (PubMed/MEDLINE 4,464; Lens.org 2,365; OpenAlex 764; WHO IRIS 31); 844 cross-source duplicates removed; 6,780 unique records screened at title and abstract; 4,173 relevant; 2,067 assessed at full-text level; 485 retained as high-relevance charting candidates, from which a representative corpus of 50 was charted. Separately, the 52 substrate-signal records at the full-text tier (score ≥ 4) stood nearest the review's target proposition and were read in full; they are not a subset of the 485. Domain coverage: workforce 1,828; health literacy 2,576; preparedness governance 627; universal coverage 3,943; civic and mandatory formation 2,491. No source articulates a universal, mandatory, deliberately-constructed floor of population health competence, and the count remains zero at every screening threshold.
