C57BL/6J mice were immunized with OVA or MOG. RNA in the feces was isolated according to published protocol (Liu et al, Cell Host & Microbe 2016; 19(1):32-43). Small RNA-seq libraries were constructed using NEXTflex⢠Small RNA-Seq Kit (Bioo Scientific Corporation., USA). Libraries were further purified with a gel size selection using Blue Pippin (Sage Science, Inc. USA). The obtained libraries were sequenced with the Illumina NextSeq 500 System (50 nt, single read).
