Archival data of the project : (de-)linking prosodic and discourse prominence : the case of non-assertive speech acts (2018-2023)
收藏资源简介:
This collection contains the archival data of the project "(De-)linking prosodic and discourse prominence: The case of non-assertive speech acts(A06)", which is a part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC 1252): Prominence in Language. The project investigates the mapping between prosodic and discourse prominence (referential givenness, focus) in speech acts with speech-act-specific prosodic prominence relations that arguably are not linked to discourse prominence. We conduct experiments to explore the role of this (de-)linking for listeners' expectations regarding prosodic prominence in upcoming utterances, for the interpretation of prosodic prominence in such speech acts, and for the mental prominence of referents in the discourse representation of listeners. For a brief introduction to the project, see .
