Data for compensational timescale (Tc) analysis under fast cyclic forcing in numerical experiments

This dataset contains model outputs from two numerical scenarios generated with the Karssenberg and Bridge (2008) model. In both scenarios, external forcing is imposed as cyclic variations in the sediment-to-water discharge ratio (Qs/Qw). The forcing period is shorter than the unforced system’s baseline compensational timescale (i.e., fast forcing). The data support the analyses in the manuscript “External forcing extends the compensational timescale by increasing regional surface roughness in fluvio-deltaic systems,” where they are used to quantify the compensational timescale (Tc) behavior under fast cyclic forcing.
