Whole Blood RNAsequencing - Teplizumab for Prevention of Type 1 Diabetes In Relatives "At-Risk" (TN10)

In this placebo-controlled phase 2 clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT01030861), non-diabetic individuals with a T1D relative from the TN01 study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT00097292), age of at least 8 years at time of randomization with at least two diabetes-related autoantibodies and demonstrated abnormal glucose tolerance (stage 2 T1D) were randomized 1:1 to receive either placebo and teplizumab for 14 days with the primary outcome being the progression toward overt diabetes onset. Whole blood was collected for bulk-whole blood RNA-sequencing at baseline, day 20 and month 12.
