RR2: Improving Agricultural Practices in the Fitzroy Region to Protect the Reef

Reduce sediment, nutrient and pesticide loads delivered to GBR Lagoon from agricultural activity. Includes industry training, extension, property planning and targeted on-ground works compliant with current best management practices. Managed by the Fitzroy Basin Association, delivered through a network of industry bodies, sub-regional groups, government agencies and private enterprise. 90% of works will be focused on practices in grazing and grain industries.
