Bos Taurus IgM and IgG repertoire for immune response phenotyped Holstein heifers

This study used the Oxford Nanopore (ONT) MinION to provide long-read sequencing of amplicons from the bovine immunoglobulin M (IgM) repertoire. The objective of the study was to assess the percentage of IgM sequences with ultralong complementarity determining region 3 (UL-CDR3) and short CDR3s among 9 Canadian Holstein heifers. The authors also wanted to assess the reliability of ONT MinION sequencing to provide repertoire data.
