While immune checkpoint blockers (ICBs) exhibit rapid and durable tumor clearance effects, their efficacy is limited, benefiting merely 30% of cancer patients. The key determinant of ICB sensitivity lies in tumor immune evasion, characterized by inadequate infiltration and diminished function of CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) within the tumor immune microenvironment (TME). Previous research has highlighted the potential role of Progranulin (PGRN) in modulating the invasive progression of various tumor cell types. However, there is a notable lack of research concerning the involvement of PGRN in the realms of ICB therapy and anti-tumor immunity.
