The property register is kept in electronic form in the Official Property Register Information System (ALKIS). In it, the objects of the object type “Soil estimation” form a proof of the yield capacity of the soil. For this purpose, legal classifications of areas are determined according to specific criteria. The financial administration of Rhineland-Palatinate (www.lfst-rlp.de) is responsible for the assignment, classification and demarcation. According to § 14 of the Soil Estimation Act, the soil estimation results must be kept in the property register. The WFS RP soil estimation contains the areas of soil estimation, the sample, country pattern and comparison pieces as well as the tomb holes of the soil estimation with the values according to the object species catalogue ALKIS Rhineland-Palatinate (ALKIS-OK RP).
