Implementing an antibiogram profile in an urban hospital in The Gambia

Cumulative antibiogram data is necessary in supporting hospital-based empirical antimicrobial treatment for rationale prescribing. This study is the first known local antibiogram coordinated by multiple stakeholders across various disciplines and a great example of North-South collaboration that has harness technical support to improve techniques required to combat AMR and improve IPC in a Low and Middle-Income Country (LMIC).
