This study aims to investigate the impact of Moringa oleifera leaves, in conjunction with mustard seed cake, on the gastrointestinal microbial community of heifers (Bos taurus). The primary focus is to understand whether the beneficial effects of this dietary combination are directly linked to changes in microbial composition. Utilizing a metagenomic approach, the research seeks to analyze how varying amounts of Moringa leaves and mustard seed cake influence the structure of the gastrointestinal microbial community and the alterations in functional genes and pathways.
