Tourist areas — Metropolitan City of Florence

Identification of the tourist areas on which the statistical surveys of arrivals and attendance of tourist movements are organised in the accommodation facilities of the Metropolitan City of Florence. The statistical survey of the movement of tourists in accommodation establishments is provided for by the National Statistical Programme, is governed by EU directives and ISTAT circulars, and the data are validated on the basis of the quality checks indicated by ISTAT, the owner of the collection, and the Tuscany Region.The collection is carried out by the Enterprise Services, Controls and Statistics Office.The Office collects and checks the data. Until June following the reference year, the annual data should be considered provisional.
