Data, code, and reproducibility materials for climatic niche reorganization of Agave salmiana under CMIP6

This repository contains the data, code, model parameters, control files, and reproducibility materials supporting the analysis of climatic niche reorganization of Agave salmiana across North America under CMIP6 future climate scenarios. The study uses CLIMEX version 4 with the historical CliMond CM10 climatology and NASA NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 projections for SSP1–2.6, SSP2–4.5, and SSP5–8.5 for 2081–2100, based on five global climate models: GFDL-ESM4, IPSL-CM6A-LR, MPI-ESM1-2-HR, MRI-ESM2-0, and UKESM1-0-LL. The repository includes derived analytical datasets, climate-preprocessing and spatial-analysis scripts, CLIMEX parameter documentation, occurrence-data audit materials, GCM and SSP robustness analyses, EI-threshold sensitivity analyses, controls for climatic-data transfer, historical parameter sensitivity analyses, and the manifest and SHA-256 checksums of the 1,350 NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 NetCDF files used in the workflow. Primary NASA NetCDF files are not redistributed. The materials support reproducibility of the analyses reported in the associated manuscript. Climatic suitability represents potential climatic suitability and should not be interpreted as realized distribution, establishment probability, or guaranteed future colonization.
