his study conducted a soil incubation experiment using two easily biodegradable organic materials (kitchen waste hydrolysate and sugarcane molasses) at varying concentrations. By monitoring short-term changes in soil physicochemical properties, water-stable aggregate size distribution, organic carbon fractions, enzyme activities, EPS components, biological biomass, and community structure over 20, 40, 60, and 80 days, we aimed to: (1) evaluate the efficacy of degradable organic wastes in stimulating soil biological activity and improving soil structure; and (2) systematically elucidate the mechanisms underlying soil particle aggregation mediated by soil biostimulants.
