Dataset of Israeli, Palestinian and American students' openness for conflict resolution before and after the Fact Finders game

181 participants (70 Israeli, 69 Palestinian, and 42 American undergraduate students) played the Fact Finders game before the Oct 7th 2023 Israel Hamas war. A cohort of 39 Israeli participants who registered for the same class at a university in Israel, were assigned to play Fact Finders in the fall semester of 2022, and another cohort of 31 Israeli participants at the same university in Israel, played Fact Finders in the fall semester 2023 (October 1st 2023). Sixty-nine (69) Palestinians from East Jerusalem and the West Bank studying at an Israeli university, in two cohorts of 30 and 39 Palestinians, who registered for the same class were assigned to play Fact Finders in the fall semester of 2023 (30 students on October 1st, 2023, and 39 students on October 3rd, 2023). Lastly, 42 Americans played Fact Finders in the fall semester of 2023 (October 3rd, 2023). Their openness for conflict resolution was measured before and after the game.
