Combination of quizartinib and omacetaxine mepesuccinate remodel proteostasis and trigger inflammatory response in FLT3-ITD AML

FLT3-ITD mutations are among the most common mutations in acute myeloid leukemia patients. We here investigate the effect of a novel combination therapy consisting of Quizartinib, a second-generation FLT3 inhibitor, and Omacetaxine Mepesuccinate, a protein synthesis inhibitor, in treating FLT3-ITD AML. Multi-omics analysis was performed including proteomics, RNA sequencing, and single-cell RNA sequencing on cell lines and primary AML samples.
