Maryam/Reena Meghwar Case, Court Order, April 27, 2021

The grab of the court order issued by Magistrate on April 27, 2021, read:
I recorded the statement of Mst.Maryam in which she stated that she wants to go with her husband namely Muhammad Qasim Khaskheli. She further submitted that she has no threat or pressure from anyone. As Mst. Maryam deposed to go along with her husband. In view of this fact, I am of the opinion that she being a Sui juris is well aware of the circumstances and by understanding the fact she recorded her statement without any threat or fear. Thus, I consider her statement as genuine and allow her to go with her husband. ASI Shahmeer Ali Chandio is directed to escort her and her husband wherever they want to go.
