Persons with income from own enterprise (01-01-1999-01-01-2005)
收藏资源简介:
This component contains data on persons who have had income from their own enterprise in one year (tax self-employed). More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology For the 1999 and 2000 reporting years, the data of self-employed persons are based on an integral file with definitive attacks. There were no estimates of this. From 2001 to 2005, the data of self-employed persons are based on income tax returns. Additional estimates were made on the declaration files, because the basic IB data for self-employed people are often provided after publication date of income statistics. From 2006 to 2008, data on self-employed persons were derived from the Income Production System (IPS). From 2009 onwards, the data are based on the new Basic Registration Self-employed (part IPS). An estimate has already taken place in both last production systems. In the current production structure of income statistics, data on self-employed persons are available at two times: approximately 9 months after the reporting year (the provisional version) and after approximately 1 year and 9 months after the reporting year (the final version). The preliminary version is based on approximately a quarter of direct observation and three quarters of an estimate; the final version on more than 90 percent direct observation. For the reporting years 2001 to 2005: self-employed persons were first assessed using the declaration file of the previous reporting year. It was assumed that self-employed persons from the previous reporting year, whose data were not found in the declaration file of the relevant reporting year, will also be self-employed in the reporting year. Secondly, it was assessed using the ZFW indication file of the Tax and Customs Administration, in which the Tax and Customs Administration indicated which self-employed persons are eligible for the Sickness Fund Act. The self-employed records that were updated contained no profit and other amounts in the first instance. For updated records from the previous year’s return, the amounts from the previous year were taken over, possibly modified for changes in tax legislation. For records re-estimated from the ZFW indication file, a hotdeck imputation method was applied, whereby the self-employed records from the reporting file of the reporting year were used as donor records. This imputation took into account the economic activity, age, gender, whether the self-employed person was eligible for the ZFW according to the Tax and Customs Administration and whether the self-employed person is also active as an employee. Note that estimated records thus contain estimated (profit) amounts. Its use has limitations, especially when the number of estimated records is high. In the past, it appeared strongly that deliveries by the Tax and Customs Administration for 2004 and possibly 2005 were less complete than in previous years, which underestimated the number of self-employed persons, even after an update. At that time, digital declarations were started, which led to delivery problems. During the SSB revision, an additional estimate was considered for the years 2004 and 2005. However, first an analysis was carried out in which no indications were found that the population for the 2004/2005 reporting years was substantially underestimated. Therefore, it was ultimately decided not to estimate extra. ### Population Persons with income from their own enterprise
