Vaccination data by department – Covid-19 – France

Data from the Vaccin Covid information system, fed by healthcare professionals carrying out the vaccinations, makes it possible to count in near real time (J-1), the number of people who received a COVID vaccine injection taking into account the number of doses received, age, gender and geographical level (national, regional and departmental). The first indicators available for open access today concern the **daily number of people who received at least one dose, by date of injection (as well as this cumulative number), by age group and by sex.** **They are presented here on a departmental scale.** These first indicators will be completed as and when necessary. From 2 February: Addition of data sets for residents of Ehpad (care facility for dependent elderly) and USLD (long-term care unit). Ehpad and USLD residents are not identified as such in the Covid Vaccin base. Are defined as Ehpad or USLD residents: vaccinated persons whose place of vaccination is coded “Ehpad” or “USLD” or whose Finess number of the place of vaccination corresponds to an Ehpad or USLD and aged 65 years and older or persons vaccinated and identified a priori by Cnam as a resident of Ehpad or USLD. The data may be biased in particular in case of error coding the vaccination location in Vaccin Covid. The uptake of vaccination information is not immediate and the data are consolidated along the water. #### Precautionary use of data While the new injections are now seized along the water in Vaccin Covid, on the other hand some injections that have taken place since the end of December have not yet been seized a posteriori in Vaccin Covid. In some regions, the Vaccin Covid data are now more complete than the lift carried out by the ARS, but in others this is not yet the case – especially in Île de France, Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur and Auvergne Rhône Alpes. The data that will now be published daily by Santé publique France on the date of injection will allow to report on this catch-up. In departmental files, if a line for a number of vaccinated at a given date is missing, it is that there was no vaccination that day in the department. ** Enrichment:** \- addition of department and region names, region codes, ISO 3166-3 codes \- aggregation of data by age group and sex: the “variable” column allows filtering on one of the two cuttings; the column “variable_val” contains the official age class or sex code, the column “variable_label” contains the label associated with that code, as described in the documentation.
