资源简介:
Disease suppressive soils are soils in which disease severity remains low in spite of the presence of the pathogen and susceptible host plants. Disease control is mostly due to microbial activities, but whole mechanisms responsible for disease suppressiveness are far from being fully understood. We compared the microbiome of two Fusarium wilt suppressive soils, two Fusarium wilt conducive soils, and one mixed soil corresponding to 10% of a suppressive soil into a conducive soil. The suppressive effect toward Fusarium wilt was successfully transferred in the mixed soil. We characterized the fungal, bacterial and archaeal microflora of the five soils using a metabarcoding approach based on internal transcribed spacer (ITS) 1, ITS2, and 16S RNA barcodes and high throughput sequencing using Illumina MiSeq technology. We also analyzed the microbiome of the five soils inoculated with the pathogen to characterize the response of the microflora.
