Global habitat intactness map

This dataset contains a global raster map representing habitat intactness, derived from the 2013 global Human Footprint map (available at: https://datadryad.org/dataset/doi:10.5061/dryad.3tx95x6d9#citations). The raster data are provided at a 1-km spatial resolution in the Mollweide equal-area projection. Original habitat intactness values range between 0 (highly disturbed) and 1 (fully intact). To reduce file size, these values were scaled by multiplying by 1,000 and converted to integers. To recover the original intactness values (0–1 scale), users should divide the raster cell values by 1,000.
