INSPIRE (LU) — Closely populated areas following the comprehensive plan of the Land Board’s Planning Information System (WMS)

Tiheasustus areas are rural areas where spatial planning must follow the principles specific to urban areas. Towns, small towns and small towns, less often village centres, are considered as breeding areas. Densely populated areas are dealt with in the Planning Act, Section 7(4) of the Land Reform Act and Section 38(1)(3) of the Nature Conservation Act. Data on densely populated areas are submitted by local governments and data are submitted by the Land Board.
