VPRS 1417 Certified Plan Registers

This series consists of registers of the provision of certified plans by the Surveyor-General's Branch of the Department of Crown Lands and Survey (VA 538). Details given in all registers are the number of the plan, the file or correspondence number to which it related, the District, the name of the person and the purpose of the plan. This was mainly for surveys for license to occupy or lease or for a certified plan or for survey and sale or for the making of adjustments. Further details given in the earlier register (see the P1 consignment) are any decision made by the Board of Land and Works (VA 744) and the date, Government Gazette references, the name of the surveyor and the date of the survey. Other details given are the markings or file management details.
