资源简介:
Many massive stars that end their lives in core-collapse supernova explosions show evidence of having had some or all of their outer layers of H and He stripped away prior to explosion. The leading theory is that interaction with a binary companion causes this stripping, but only a handful of surviving binary companions have been found. ATCA observations of the stripped-envelope SN 2024abfo hint at the presence of bumps and dips in the radio light curve, which could be a signpost of binary companion interaction. Further ATCA monitoring is required to see if these undulations are continuing and periodic.
