Expression of T6SS genes in constitutive and repressed strains

In our study, we sought to identify the cost of the T6SS in Vibrio cholerae. In this study, we examined the differences in growth rate across two engineered strains of Vibrio cholerae; a strain engineered to be constitutive for T6SS (T6SS+) and a strain where a terminator was placed in front of the T6SS operon, expression of T6SS in this strain is abrogated (T6SS-).This SRA submission contains gene expression levels for T6SS+, T6SS-, and Wild Type Vibrio cholerae. This data is used to validate the expression profiles of T6SS in each strain.
