This topic includes both the communication routes for vehicles and people and the associated infrastructures. The phenomena of road, road, urban road and bike path among others have been included, It is recommended that the road network be complete, continuous and connected. (See Section 2.3.3 of the Preamble to the Phenomena Dictionary). Air transport networks and waterways have not been considered, although port and airport enclosures are included in the base. The inclusion of the trans-European transport network as defined in Decision No 1692/96/EC2 and future revisions of that Decision are pending.本数据集涵盖面向机动车与行人的通行路径及其配套基础设施。已纳入普通道路、城市道路与自行车道等相关地物要素，建议道路网络需具备完整性、连续性与连通性。（详见《现象词典》（Phenomena Dictionary）前言第2.3.3节）航空运输网络与航道未纳入本次数据集范畴，但港区与机场围合区域已纳入基础数据集。针对欧盟第1692/96/EC2号决议所定义的泛欧运输网络及其后续修订版本的纳入工作仍处于待议状态。
