Heterogeneous 2D DEM Experiments

This dataset includes the model code and all DEM files required to reproduce near-surface thrust & reverse fault models. Models are produced in Particle Flow Code (PFC2D) v. 7.00 and generate result, save, png, and csv files throughout the deformation sequence.

Each DEM experiment is sorted into directories for homogeneous or heterogeneous sediment strengths and then by model parameters: D, M, L = Dense, Medium, and Loose sediment; 3, 5, and 10 m sediment depths; cohesion and tensile strength in Pa; fault dip in degrees; FS = fault seed height as a product of the total sediment depth.
