AraStance

AraStance是一个多国家、多领域的阿拉伯语立场检测数据集，由卡塔尔计算研究机构创建，旨在支持事实核查。该数据集包含4063个声明-文章对，来源于三个事实核查网站和一个新闻网站，覆盖政治、体育、健康等多个领域，涉及多个阿拉伯国家。创建过程中，通过精心爬取与声明相关的网络文章，并手动分配立场标签。AraStance的应用领域主要是自动识别与给定声明相关的立场，这是事实核查和假新闻检测系统的重要组成部分。

AraStance is a multi-country, multi-domain Arabic stance detection dataset developed by the Qatar Computing Research Institute to support fact-checking efforts. It contains 4063 claim-article pairs sourced from three fact-checking websites and one news outlet, spanning multiple domains such as politics, sports and healthcare, and covering multiple Arab countries. During its creation, relevant web articles related to the claims were meticulously crawled, and stance labels were manually assigned. The primary application of AraStance is the automatic identification of stances associated with a given claim, which constitutes a critical component of fact-checking and fake news detection systems.
