This dataset was created to support long-term monitoring and assessment of fish communities. Typically data were collected through standardized backpack electrofishing surveys conducted by the AMM team in accordance with the Ontario Stream Assessment Protocol (OSAP). Some data (e.g. fish rescue activities undertaken in support of infrastructure, restoration, and construction projects) may not follow the OSAP protocol. The dataset consolidates fish community information across multiple years and program areas. Missing Measurements: A value of –99 is used to indicate that a measurement is not available. While reasonable efforts have been made to ensure data accuracy and completeness, this dataset may contain errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or missing values. Users should review and validate the data as appropriate for their intended use.
