Burnt Area - Sentinel-3 - South America

Burnt Area (BA) products map burn scars, surfaces which have been sufficiently affected by fire to display significant changes in the vegetation cover (destruction of dry material, reduction or loss of green material) and in the ground surface (temporarily darker because of ash). Next to the detection of the burnt area, temporal information is provided on the first detection of the burns, both within the 10-day period and within the fire season. From the available global product, this product is a geographic subset over South America. Access to Copernicus Land Service products is free and open to all users.
