枪勇错位于喜马拉雅山东段卡鲁雄峰冰川区,其物质输入主要受冰川变化影响。枪勇错钻孔由中国科学院青藏高原研究所徐柏青课题组于2017年7月在湖中水深19米处(28.8899°N,90.2260°E)钻取获得。钻孔的有效拼接长度为14.14 m。本数据集为14.14 m岩芯的粘土与粉砂沉积通量、硅质碎屑沉积通量和磁化率数据。数据测试所用仪器分别为Mastersizer3000(英国马尔文公司)、TOC-LVCP(日本岛津公司)和Itrax Core Scanner(瑞典COX Itrax公司),实验在青藏高原地球系统与资源环境全国重点实验室完成。该数据集中,粘土与粉砂沉积通量、硅质碎屑沉积通量以及磁化率呈现相对一致变化特征,体现了冰川碎屑物质输入的变化特征,提供了长时间尺度枪勇冰川变化信息。这些数据对研究青藏高原南部季风区古冰川变化及其驱动机制具有十分重要的科学意义。

Qiangyong Tso is situated in the glacial area of Kaluoxiong Peak in the eastern segment of the Himalayas, and its material input is primarily controlled by glacier variations. The sediment core from Qiangyong Tso was drilled in July 2017 by the research group led by Xu Baiqing from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, at a water depth of 19 meters in the lake (28.8899°N, 90.2260°E). The effective spliced length of the core is 14.14 m. This dataset contains sediment flux data of clay and silt, siliciclastic sediment flux data, and magnetic susceptibility data from the 14.14 m-long sediment core. The measurements were conducted using Mastersizer 3000 (Malvern Instruments, UK), TOC-LVCP (Shimadzu Corporation, Japan), and Itrax Core Scanner (COX Itrax, Sweden). The laboratory analyses were completed at the State Key Laboratory of Tibetan Plateau Earth System, Resources and Environment. In this dataset, the sediment fluxes of clay and silt, siliciclastic sediment flux, and magnetic susceptibility show relatively consistent variation patterns, which reflect the changes in glacial clastic material input and provide long-term records of glacier changes in the Qiangyong Glacier region. These data are of great scientific significance for studying paleoglacier changes and their driving mechanisms in the monsoon zone of the southern Tibetan Plateau.
