Datasets and Variable Definitions for Cytochrome P450 Derived Eicosanoids and ASCVD

This project is comprised of two distinct research cohorts of patients with clinically established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), defined as a prior revascularization procedure or current ≥ 50% coronary artery stenosis in a major coronary artery. In each cohort, biomarkers of cytochrome P450 mediated eicosanoid metabolism were quantified in plasma samples. UNC ASCVD Cohort #1 was assembled from 2012-2014 at UNC-Chapel Hill, as described in PMID: 26555503, and includes n=121 individuals with ASCVD at baseline. UNC ASCVD Cohort #2 was assembled from 2007-2010, at UNC-Chapel Hill, as described in PMID: 29155368 and 23466098, and includes n=139 individuals with ASCVD at baseline. Cytochrome P450 derived eicosanoid metabolites were quantified in plasma samples collected at baseline in each cohort, as described in PMID: 26555503 and 23466098. A file summarizing the number of individuals in each dataset (overall and with available eicosanoid metabolite biomarker and longitudinal follow-up data) is provided. For each cohort, a dataset file and variable definition file is provided.
