资源简介:
Perionyx excavatus has remarkable regenerative features, as it can effectively regenerate and survive after having its head amputated. It goes through anterior regeneration, which includes the reorganization of reproductive organs like the testis, ovary, seminal vesicle, and clitellum post-amputation. After amputation, a cluster of undifferentiated cells migrate and proliferate at the wound site forming a blastema, an indistinct structure lacking any identifiable characteristics. For this study, adult worms with a completely developed clitellum were chosen. The first ten anterior segments of the worm were amputated using a sterile surgical blade for the control group. The test samples were the anterior regeneration blastema obtained from worms on the 5th day post amputation. The samples were sequenced on a NovaSeq 6000 with a paired-end read length of 150 base pairs sequencing chemistry. The control and test transcriptome datasets were deposited in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA) database with accession number SRP483521 (SRR27535011 and SRR27535012 respectively). This Transcriptome Shotgun Assembly project has been deposited at DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank (GKSK00000000).All identified coding sequences have been used for annotation, and around 56.49% showed considerable similarity with UniProt Annelida protein sequences. The gene annotation of the coding sequences has been uploaded here.
