A coupled LBM-FDEM framework for simulating solute transport and mineral dissolution under H-M-C conditions

This study introduces a multi-field coupled simulation framework that integrates the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) with the Finite Discrete Element Method (FDEM) to model solute transport and mineral microstructure dissolution. To validate the developed LBM-FDEM coupling method, several numerical case studies are conducted. All the data curves, the dissolved pattern and the concentration and velocity distribution contour obtained from above numerical simulation results are all stored in this online repository.
