为了进一步探究蛇纹石化过程中Cr同位素分馏行为,我们开展了对全球蛇纹岩全岩和单矿物的Cr同位素研究,包括15件来自汤加海沟的地幔楔蛇纹岩、29件西藏雅鲁藏布江橄榄岩、蛇纹岩和异剥钙榴岩、8件安徽歙县伏川蛇纹岩和9件塞浦路斯蛇纹岩。单矿物主量元素和微量元素含量分析通过LA-ICP-MS分析获得,主量元素分析误差在5%以内,微量元素分析误差在15%以内。所有样品经过双稀释剂法和两次离子交换树脂纯化,最后利用Triton TIMS对这些标样的Cr同位素组成进行分析,分析精度优于0.03‰ (2SD)。该结果表明蛇纹石化过程和随后的磁铁矿淋滤作用都会引起Cr同位素分馏,并且后者会导致蛇纹岩中明显的Cr含量下降与Cr同位素偏重。
To further investigate the Cr isotope fractionation behavior during serpentinization, we conducted Cr isotope studies on whole rocks and single minerals of global serpentinites, including 15 mantle wedge serpentinites from the Tonga Trench, 29 peridotites, serpentinites and rodingites from the Yarlung Zangbo River of Tibet, 8 Fukagawa serpentinites from Shexian, Anhui Province, and 9 serpentinites from Cyprus. The major and trace element contents of single minerals were analyzed via LA-ICP-MS, with analytical errors within 5% for major elements and within 15% for trace elements. All samples were purified using the double-spike method and two-stage ion exchange resin chromatography, then the Cr isotope compositions of these samples were analyzed using Triton TIMS, achieving an analytical precision better than 0.03‰ (2SD). These results demonstrate that both serpentinization and subsequent magnetite leaching can induce Cr isotope fractionation, and the latter leads to a significant decrease in Cr content and heavier Cr isotope compositions in serpentinites.
