These data were produced for a standardized comparison of vegetation disturbance products across California for 2001 to 2010 using Google Earth Engine (Palomino and Kelly 2019. Differing Sensitivities to Fire Disturbance Result in Large Differences Among Remotely Sensed Products of Vegetation Disturbance). The original data were gathered from various sources including Hansen Global Forest Change, North American Forest Dynamics, LANDFIRE, Monitoring Trends in Burn Severity (MTBS), and CALFIRE Fire and Resource Assessment Program (FRAP) database.
