Processed Dataset for Hypertension Risk Analysis in Mexican Adults Based on Nutritional and Caloric Indicators

This dataset contains processed data for the analysis of hypertension risk in the Mexican adult population based on nutritional and caloric indicators.
The dataset was constructed from ENSANUT Continua 2022 records and enriched through the use of the digital version of the Mexican System of Equivalent Foods (Sistema Mexicano de Alimentos Equivalentes, SMAE), 5th edition. This reference framework was used to standardize food records and estimate macronutrient intake and total caloric consumption with greater precision.
The final dataset includes variables related to proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, caloric intake, blood pressure, and selected demographic and lifestyle factors. The data were cleaned, transformed, categorized, and structured to support statistical analysis and machine learning applications.
This dataset was prepared to support research on hypertension risk analysis in Mexican adults and may be useful for studies in public health, nutritional epidemiology, and data science.
