The Directorate-General for Customs and Indirect Duties (DGDDI) mobilises 17,000 officers, deployed to 674 locations. In the face of changes in the customs environment, it has demonstrated its adaptability but remains confronted with an imperative of transforming and modernising its trades and organisation. It is necessary to focus its tasks on controlling the flow of goods and people. The Court makes 13 recommendations to accompany this transformation.
