Water temperature, salinity, and calculated sound speed taken by CTD from research vessels C-Wolf and Sea Scout in Approaches to Tampa, FL from 2019-02-27 to 2019-07-21 (NCEI Accession 0194664)

This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and sound speed collected/calculated for the OPR-J317-KR-18 project under contract with NOAA. Sea Bird Electronics SBE19 and SBE19plus CTD sensor measurements of depth, temperature, and conductivity were used for speed of sound calculations through the water column. CTD casts were conducted at least once daily on board research vessels C-Wolf and Sea Scout and more often as needed. Dual CTDs were obtained periodically to ensure proper working order of sensors. Data are in ASCII (CNV) format.
