The carbon emission inventory consists of national provincial-level carbon emission data, which is obtained from the China Emission Accounts and Datasets (CEADs). This database presents the latest research outcomes of China's multi-scale energy, carbon emission and socio-economic accounting inventories. The data is calculated based on the administrative regional scope specified by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), covering all anthropogenic emissions generated within administrative boundaries from energy consumption (i.e., energy-related emissions from 17 types of fossil fuels) and industrial production (i.e., process-related emissions from cement production).
